In the Community Mothers Programme, 40 women host an after school programme for 20 children in their homes every day. The children are all vulnerable or orphaned, and our focus is on psycho-social support. The programme is supported by a lay counsellor and a gap student who offers homework assistance. The community mother cooks a nutritious meal daily, and creates a warm, welcoming environment.
